Ready to shoot

Sixth-grader Jack Easterby (pictured) eyes the goal and sets up for a shot in a lacrosse game with the HYLAX Hornets green team. The Hornets defeated the Pearland Rail Cats, 6-3, despite cold, wet and rainy conditions on the field. Also on the team is Jack’s identical twin brother, Alec, who scored two of the Hornets’ four goals. The Easterby brothers, who attend The Kinkaid School, both play middie (midfield) and defense, at the encouragement of their coach to try multiple positions. Jack and Alec are in their second year of lacrosse, and it is becoming one of their favorite sports.
