The Lone Star Flight Museum’s 2018 gala, Flights of Fancy, was held in its Heritage Hangar, and welcomed guests such as the museum’s board of directors and gala co-chairs Steve and Diane Biegel and Lisa and Russell Sherrill (pictured, from left). The event celebrated five new inductees into the Texas Aviation Hall of Fame. The museum’s flying collection of historically significant aircraft provided an exciting backdrop to the event as guests enjoyed unlimited access to the galleries and exhibits. The museum’s new 130,000 square foot facility at Ellington Airport opened September 2017.
