National Geographic Photo Camp Pop-Up Exhibition
Nearly one year after Hurricane Harvey hit Houston, the impact of the catastrophic storm can still be felt all around our city. In partnership with the National Geographic Society and with support from 21st Century Fox, Houston Center for Photography invites you to join us in reflecting on this past year as we celebrate the work of 20 Houston-area students who show us life after the storm. From August 13-16, these students, who come from high schools and colleges around the Houston area, will work directly with National Geographic photographers and editors to tell their stories through photography.
Their week of work will culminate in a pop-up exhibition in HCP's main gallery on Friday, August 17, 6-8 p.m. for an evening of reflection, storytelling and photography.
