Texas Children’s Hospital presents Coco for Family Movie Night

Come on out for Family Movie Night at Levy Park on Oct. 26, sponsored by Texas Children’s Hospital. From Walt Disney Pictures and Pixar Animation Studios comes Coco, the beloved 2017 animated film about aspiring musician Miguel, who despite his family's baffling generations-old ban on music, dreams of becoming an accomplished musician like his idol, Ernesto de la Cruz. Desperate to prove his talent, Miguel finds himself in the stunning and colorful Land of the Dead following a mysterious chain of events. Along the way, he meets charming trickster Hector, and together, they set off on an extraordinary journey to unlock the real story behind Miguel's family history.

Family Movie Night is on the last Friday of each month. Guests are encouraged to dress in their Halloween costumes. No outside furniture is allowed, but blankets or park chairs can be used.

Guests can enjoy food and beverage service from 5 p.m. – 9 p.m. from Coffee-Q. Well-known on the streets of Houston, Coffee-Q features a Qold Brew coffee made from a 15-hour infusion of Guatemalan roasted beans uniquely presented with a twist of international influences. Their signature brisket and pulled pork ‘Q (BBQ) is incorporated into a variety of dishes including tacos, sandwiches, and nachos – all loaded with big, Texas pecan-smoked flavor.
