The BCAN 2019 Walk to End Bladder Cancer will take place Sun., May 19, 9:30 a.m., at Terry Hershey Park. The walk is family- and dog-friendly. Last year, the Houston walk placed first nationwide in funds raised and the number of participants. More than 30 neighbors from Tanglewood participated last year, including Barbara Moore, Pat Medors, Jackie and Tom Wygant, Virginia Williams, Vickie Lander, Beau Herrin and Sue Howe and their families. Local sponsors include Baylor College of Medicine, MD Anderson, Tracy and Beau Herrin and Pam and Jim Harris.
