Vietnamese Mid-Autumn Festival
Enjoy your Saturday with the Children's Museum and the Vietnamese Culture and Science Association (VCSA) as they celebrate the moon and the harvest with the annual Mid-Autumn Festival. Traditionally, the festival is a child-centered celebration of the rice harvest in mid-autumn.
This year, the Museum's day-long festival will offer many activities and performances for guests. Special events include lion dancers, lantern parades, a fashion workshop and contest, and Vietnamese story time. Guests are also invited to attend the Museum's "Dragons & Fairies: Exploring Viet Nam Through Folktales" exhibit.
