Barnes & Noble Baybrook Presents 'When America Fell Silent' Book Signing by Houston On-Air Radio Personality Freddy Cruz
Barnes & Noble Baybrook in the Bay Area will host Houston on-air radio personality and author Freddy Cruz for a book signing and discussion.
Freddy Cruz is a Houston author and on-air radio personality who recently published his first novel titled When America Fell Silent. Cruz’s novel, a fictional dystopian political thriller, is about retired Navy SEAL Hayden Randall who will do anything to defend his country and restore the nation’s freedom.
Randall’s ex-girlfriend and current First Daughter Elizabeth stages a coup and takes control of the U.S. government after her presidential parents are assassinated. When she repeals the First Amendment and begins a campaign of public executions, Randall vows to put a stop to the death and destruction. Demonstrating that democracy is never bulletproof, the novel leads readers through a dark glimpse of possible futures to discover if a determined hero can lead the resistance and take down America’s first dictator before the country falls.
