George, age 3

Hi! My name is George (I’m the cute black pup on the left in the photo), and my big sister’s name is Barbara. She’s a 5-year-old English cream retriever. We live on Valerie Street and are both foster fails. I came from a sad home and was utterly frightened when I came to live temporarily with my foster parents. My temporary stay became permanent after my family just couldn't let me go anywhere else. My sister was also supposed to stay for a short time and go to a military veteran’s home after getting spayed and trained. But our foster dad is a 100 percent disabled veteran, and everyone agreed we would be better staying together. Plus, Barbara just loved me too much and couldn’t leave me. When we aren’t laying out on the deck together, we love to chase tennis balls and sleep (a lot).
