Zoo Boo 2019
Get into the Halloween Spirit at Zoo Boo, a family-friendly fall festival that kicks off on Friday at the Houston Zoo. Enjoy the Whataburger Pumpkin Patch, Monster Mural, spooky stamp station and plenty more activities you can check out while in costume! 

Houston Italian Festival 
It’s time for the 41st annual Houston Italian Festival, presented by The Italian Cultural and Community Center. Enjoy bingo, wine, music and a pasta-eating contest this weekend at the University of St. Thomas. 

Full Moon Friday at Discovery Green
Visit Discovery Green on Friday for this free outdoor concert, featuring Austin-born, Seattle-based guitarist and singer-songwriter Ian Moore, whose songs have been featured on American Idol and The Voice. Food, beer and wine are available for purchase from Lake House Café. 

Bayou City Art Festival
Houston’s largest art festival returns for its 48th year, transforming the streets of downtown into artistic avenues bursting with colors and colors. The weekend event spotlights 300 artists representing 19 different disciplines and gives patrons a chance to personally meet artists and purchase world-class prints, jewelry, sculptures and more. 

Southside Place Color Dash
Race with flying colors at the fourth annual Southside Place Color Dash, happening Saturday morning at 8:30 a.m. Dodge clouds of colorful hues as you run through the streets of Southside Place and then clean up with a pool party at the Southside Place pool. 

Diwali Bazaar
Celebrate Diwali, the festival of lights and the Hindu New Year, at Bellaire-Zindler Park on Saturday evening. Enjoy delicious Indian food, non-stop entertainment and more. 

A Night at Market Square 
Visit Market Square Park for this annual block party, featuring live music, lawn games, art installations and authentic Tex-Mex bites.

Achtoberfest 
Celebrate Achtoberfest at 8th Wonder Brewery on Saturday with plenty of music and beer. General admission includes entry, three beer tokens and a limited-edition stein.
