Let the cheering begin
Emery/Weiner School cheerleaders (pictured) proudly show their school spirit at a volleyball game against Trafton Academy. This is the first year for Emery/Weiner to have middle school cheerleaders in more than 15 years. The girls gave an impressive performance at this first game, and will cheer this season for both volleyball and football. In addition to daily practice, the cheerleaders also attended NCA camp over the summer where they won the Most Improved award out of 40 teams. The seventh- and eighth-grade cheerleaders are (top row, from left) Lindsay Kronowitz, Lauren Miller, Evelyn Burt, Audrey Hochglaube, Hannah Klaff, Lilly Cyprow, Sunny Bell, Bri Hendin, (middle row, from left) Lillian Cutrer and Peri Toubin, (bottom row, from left) Leah Cororve, Dylan Abrams, Dori Smith and Ari Berman.
