Stop the Madness: Safety Awareness Event

 

The Buzz Magazines and Crime Stoppers of Houston invite you to join us for this safety awareness event, Weds., Feb. 26, 7-9 p.m. at Evelyn’s Park. You'll hear from:

  • Rania Mankarious, executive director of Crime Stoppers of Houston
  • Chief Byron Holloway, Chief of Bellaire Police
  • Megan Kale Morcomb, MSW, LCSW-S, program director for The Menninger Clinic's Adolescent Treatment Program 
  • Angela Koreth, LPC-S, program manager for The Menninger Clinic's Bellaire Clinic
  • Swati Narayan, volunteer leader with the Texas chapter of Moms Demand Action for Gun Sense in America 

Following the panel discussion, there will be a Q&A on important topics including school and community safety. Adults only. Free to attend but registration required. Boxed dinners provided by Whataburger. The event is on rain or shine; it will be held indoors at the event space at Evelyn’s Park. Sign up for the event here.
