Nutcracker Market Spring Committee

Nutcracker Market Spring Committee

The 2020 Nutcracker Market Spring Committee gathered at Nancy Almodovar’s home for a kickoff event. The Nutcracker Market Spring was to take place at NRG Center April 17-19, with apparel, accessories, gourmet food, men’s items, and gifts for Mother’s Day, Father’s Day and graduation. Due to the coronavirus, the in-person market was cancelled but shoppers can now participate in an online market featuring many of the same merchants who were scheduled to appear at the event. The Virtual 2020 Spring Nutcracker Marketplace will run through April 30 via Facebook. For the Virtual Marketplace, 100 percent of the sales will now go back to the merchants; some merchants are choosing to donate a portion of their proceeds back to the Houston Ballet Foundation. See a list of participating merchants here. Pictured are committee members (top of the stairs) Kirksey Gregg, Susan Lehmann, C.C.
