Sally
My parents adopted me on Dec. 31, 2018, so I literally was their New Year's baby. The shelter said I was fully grown at 26 pounds, but I'm now 60 pounds and still growing! Mom took me to obedience school, and I've got to admit, the lessons worked. I have my family trained perfectly. I've taught them where I like to be petted – behind my ears and under my chin. I'm an early riser, and I lick mom's face until she tumbles out of our bed for my morning walk. When mom goes to work, I hop in my older brother’s bed for more beauty sleep. When I watch TV with dad, I put my head on his lap so I'm comfortable when I fall asleep. Those dog-training sessions were worth every penny. I have my family in the palm of my paw.
