Garage studio
St. Francis Episcopal School rising fifth grader Addie Yarbrough (pictured) converted her garage into a ballet studio to continue working on her dance skills during the pandemic. Complete with a barre and mat, the Yarbroughs’ garage was a great space to participate in Houston Ballet Academy’s online classes while in-person classes were put on hold. Addie just wrapped up her sixth year with the academy. She has performed in Stanton Welch’s production of The Nutcracker for two consecutive seasons, as a lamb in 2018 and a mouse medic in 2019. Addie is looking forward to getting back into the studio three times each week when the next season begins.
