Boys of summer

The 8U Texas Drillers (pictured) are PG Texas Youth champs. During each of their summer tournaments, the Drillers made it to the championship game but usually ended up in second place. After 26 wins and three second-place losses over four weeks, the team was victorious and earned their champion rings. With the Spring Branch-Memorial Sports Association (SBMSA) baseball season canceled, the boys were excited to be able to play tournament ball. Next up for the Drillers: advancing to the next age group and starting kid-pitch games.
