Learning lacrosse
New players Reagan Pinkerton and Reed Adair (pictured, from left) enjoy a lacrosse tournament with the Pin Oak club team. The Pin Oak Middle School sixth graders are playing lacrosse for the first time, and they are rotating through the different positions before settling into more permanent positions. During the pandemic, the girls hope to continue to play in games and tournaments, but have not been able to play consistently due to the HISD program shutdowns. They are encouraged by the one middle-school tournament they played and their many practices, and hope to have a more traditional lacrosse experience going forward.
