Louie, age 16

Hello, friends! Louie here. Many of you know me from my daily stroll with my hu-mom. I’ve become famous in a way – I’m credited with starting what some call the “Havanese craze” by inspiring countless families towards the Havanese breed. I even have a namesake girlfriend, Louise (the Havanese)! My friendly, fun, entertaining personality and sweet, loving spirit have brought smiles to many over the years. In my younger days, I loved chasing squirrels, racing my family down the beach, and playing “squeaky fetch" over and over. But now I enjoy more simple pleasures like familiar walks on sunny days, a cozy spot on the couch, and rubs behind my ears. Even though I move a little slower now and my hearing is not so great, I still live out my heartfelt mission – bringing joy to others.
