Lemonade Day Build-A-Stand Contest

The Lemonade Day Build-A-Stand Workshop and Contest is an event in which children will participate in a workshop at EFI Experts Flooring Installations to create a unique stand to help their lemonade stand business. Email [email protected] with the contestant’s name to register him/her to attend the event. Youth entrepreneurs will be provided assistance and supplies from sponsors and volunteers. After the workshop, email a picture of your children’s stand and they will have a chance to win a 1st, 2nd, or 3rd and the title of Best Stand in Houston!

This is one of many activities that builds towards the excitement for the city-wide Lemonade Day weekend, May 7 and 8, 2022. Lemonade Day is a non-profit organization dedicated to teaching youth important business, financial, character-building, and life skills that are the key ingredients of entrepreneurship. Children, grades K-8, can register today to participate in Lemonade Day Houston for free with the help of an adult mentor. Register at Lemonadeday.org/Houston. Supporting parents or mentors sign the children up for the program, guide them, and encourage them through each lesson. They receive access to the Lemonade Day curriculum that teaches them step-by-step how to start, own, and operate a real-life business- a lemonade stand.
