Frostwood loves Mr. Jesse
Jesus Ochoa, known as “Mr. Jesse,” has been a beloved member of the Frostwood Elementary community since 1981. Part of the school’s janitorial staff, he’s made a long-lasting, positive impression on students, parents, teachers, and staff for many years. Mr. Jesse is set to retire after this school year. Recently, Frostwood second graders wanted to help him celebrate his birthday, especially as he was healing from a knee replacement. Parent Staci Wegmann reached out to teacher Sarah Starling Read, who created a birthday coloring banner. Second-grade students beautifully filled in the banner and Mrs. Wegmann delivered the colorful sign along with other cards thoughtfully created by students to Mr. Jesse’s home. Pictured, with the banner, are James Morgan, Cooper Davis, Brooke Wegmann, Bennett Wegmann, Noah Rice, and Ms. Read. Mr. Jesse will be very missed after he retires.
