Walk, roll, stroll for Easter Seals
Easter Seals Greater Houston will host its 11th annual Walk With Me event on Sat., April 23 at the Houston Zoo. Participants will enjoy a non-competitive Family Fun Walk to raise funds for the nonprofit. After taking a virtual approach in 2020 and a hybrid approach in 2021 due to Covid, supporters of the nonprofit are excited to walk, roll, and stroll together in person this year. Oliver Cole, one of the many children that benefit from Easter Seals’ services, is a Walk With Me ambassador this year. Here, Oliver is pictured with parents Courtney and Ben Cole and (on left) Charisse Clark, Oliver’s physical therapist in the Early Childhood Intervention Program. This photo was taken after Oliver’s birthday during which Oliver’s parents requested gifts for the Early Childhood Intervention Program. Through therapy, training, education, and support services, Easter Seals creates life-changing solutions that allow people with disabilities to live, learn, work, and play in the community.
