Elementary-school students Anika Krishnan, Ariyan Engineer, and James Volpi (pictured, from left) competed in a First Lego League robotics competition. As an after-school activity, they attend the Kids Robotics Academy in Bellaire where they learn STEM-based material and applications. The talented trio formed a team called the Texas Vibers and competed against other teams in the event held at Willis Middle School. As part of the challenger division (ages 9-16), the Texas Vibers engaged in research, coding, and engineering as they built and programmed a Lego robot. The team placed first in the Core Values category and third, overall, out of 23 teams in the challenger division.
