Basketeers on the court

Savannah Beinart, Emily Dabney, Lexi Cohen, Devon Dobbs, and Ellie Roth (pictured) wrapped up a successful basketball season with the Bellaire Recreation Center. The Condit Elementary third graders are members of the Basketeers team, and this was their first season to play together. Even though the basketball teams in the Bellaire Rec Center league do not keep score during the games, the players still learn skills, strategy, and teamwork. The Basketeers had a great season while learning more about basketball and developing their abilities in passing, blocking, and shooting. The final scores didn’t count, but the girls had a great “winning” season.
