Come little children, we’ll take thee away to Salem for a free screening of Hocus Pocus. The Family Movie Night at Levy Park, presented by Texas Children’s Hospital, is Friday, Oct. 28, 7 p.m. The 1993 Walt Disney fantasy film is rated PG and runs 1 hour and 36 minutes
300 years ago, the Sanderson sisters had practiced witchcraft and been punished. Now it's Halloween 1993 in Salem and the new boy in town, Max Dennison, explores an abandoned house with his sister Dani and their new friend, Allison. After dismissing a story Allison tells as superstitious, Max accidentally frees a coven of the Sanderson witches who used to live in the old house. It is now up to the kids to steal the witches' spell book with the help of a magical cat to stop them from becoming immortal.
