Congratulations, eagle scout

Dominic Adamo (pictured), a member of Memorial Drive United Methodist Church Scout Troop 599, was one of four Scouts in his troop who were recently awarded the highest rank of Eagle Scout. His service project, which took 251 hours over several months to complete, benefited St. Joseph Catholic Church. With the help of other Scouts, family members, and friends, Dominic planned, designed, built, and installed four benches and prepared a designated prayer space. He hopes the prayer space will be used as an area for those needing a quiet place to sit, reflect, and pray for years to come. Dom is a senior at Strake Jesuit College Preparatory and plans to major in biomedical engineering next year in college.
