Moms who run

As the sun came up the morning of the 2023 Aramco Half Marathon, a group of Wilchester Elementary School moms was lined up and ready to run. Beth Ramey, Rose Ramsey, Annie McQueen, Samantha Mansur, Courtney Gloudemans (pictured, from left), and Perla Grover (pictured, in front) trained for the big event and were rewarded with a medal at the finish line. Training for the 13.1-mile challenge took time, persistence, and a positive attitude, and Courtney and Perla trained together with increasing-distance runs through their neighborhood. Husbands, kids, and families spaced themselves along the racecourse to give the moms a never-ending supply of applause, cheers, and motivation, helping all six to finish strong.
