Run to Remember at Memorial Park
Memorial Park Conservancy is hosting a run to commemorate those who have dedicated their lives to the U.S. military between Friday and Monday at the Seymour Lieberman Trail at Memorial Park. Run or walk one mile (or more if you choose), along the flag-lined Seymour Lieberman Trail to commemorate loved ones who have served. Memorial Park will tally the total number of miles and post the results on their social media. Register here.
Memorial Park Conservancy’s Run to Remember is not a fundraiser. The event is free and open to all who wish to participate throughout Memorial Day weekend.
Why Memorial Park? Memorial Park was founded in 1924 in memory of the service members who died during WWI. From 1917-1919, the land on which the Park now sits was Camp Logan, a national guard training base. Learn more about Memorial Park’s history here.
As the non-profit organization that manages and operates 1,100 acres of Memorial Park, Memorial Park Conservancy stewards the Park as a place of mental health and well-being, and of recreation in nature.
