Markets for Makers

Support local makers and small businesses when you shop at Markets for Makers, Saturday, November 11th through Sunday, November 12th at Silver Street Studios. Featuring 120+ diverse makers specializing in home décor, fashion, art, design and food, Markets for Makers provides shoppers with a one-of-a-kind experience by giving them access to products not readily available in retail stores or at other markets.

The market will host a mix of Houston-based makers such as ErickasElectricEdits, Love & Make DIY Workshop, Soldiers of Wax, Root to Home, Leah Sweet Ceramics and Mixed Feels Aura Photography, as well as makers that have traveled in from all over the country like Mandalina Turkish Towels, Blankets, & Kimonos, Johnny Fly, Ladicani Design, and Jess Wandering Goods. In addition to shopping in an inspiring environment that champions connections between independent artists, makers and customers, Houstonians will enjoy on-site activations including DIY stations, photo walls, sip on beverages, and indulge in bites from a variety of food trucks including CitizensTruck.

General Admission tickets provide access to the market during a designated time slot and include a tote bag with an invite to participate in the DIY stations at the market. Kids under 12 years of age can enter for free. VIP ticket holders receive market access all weekend, enter via a dedicated VIP line, receive a special edition cotton market tote, and have the opportunity to shop during an exclusive preview hour on Saturday from 10am – 11am.
