TUTS at the CFP National Championship

Before the Washington Huskies football team took on the Michigan Wolverines for the College Football Playoff national championship title, local Houston performers hit the field. The Theatre Under the Stars (TUTS) Musical Theatre Academy Ensemble (pictured) sang America the Beautiful in front of a packed house at NRG Stadium and thousands more who watched on ESPN. Led by TUTS education director Jacob Shideler, the performers included: Nicole Blanco, Jazlyn Bonilla, Nathan Bryant, Glenn Carter, Jackson Chavis, Kai Desel, Megan Edwards, Leah Elliott, Brennan Emeka, Duckie Frederickson, Haley Griffin, Jacob Hurst, Daniel Karash, Savera Karia, Toni Kendrick, Riley Korfhage, Sarah Leal, Newt Meek, Riley Neal, Olivia Nobles, Gwyneth Parrish, Courtney Smith, Jayden Strawn, Jessie Vance, Madison Weaston, Zoe White, Audrey Wilder, Kenzie Woolridge, Abby Yadan, Ellie Yarbrough, and Meskerem Zgirdea.
