The Health Museum goes to Casablanca

Dr. James Flowers, Tonda Beard Chapman, and Michael Beard (pictured, from left) celebrated with more than 200 other supporters of the John P. McGovern Museum of Health and Medical Science (The Health Museum) at the Casablanca Gala. Guests packed the Four Seasons Hotel and raised $300,000 to benefit The Health Museum’s education and community programs, including funding for the DeBakey Cell Lab, Discovery camps and field trips, and the Global Teen Medical Summit for high school students. Chaired by Dr. Flowers, the annual fundraising event included dinner, dancing, a tribute video, a live auction led by auctioneer Mike Greer, and a special performance by Doppelganger Band.
