So much talent!
Families, friends, teachers, and staff gathered in the West University Elementary School cafeteria for the much-anticipated student talent show. Fifty-one students auditioned to perform, and 27 acts (pictured) were invited to compete in the show organized by music and theater teachers Alex Perez and Kerri Cobb. Volunteers from the PTO worked to coordinate the school event that principal Scott Disch praised as “a showcase of diverse, high-quality talents.” The impressive list of acts included student Austin Woerner who sang while playing his own piano accompaniment, and Naara Liu who performed a rhythmic gymnastics ball routine.
