Snowbound brothers
Brothers Jack and David Mora Bernatova (pictured, from left) are gaining momentum in their ski competitions. Their family travels from Houston to Colorado for both ski and hockey competitions during the winter months. The brothers are part of the Steamboat Springs Winter Sports Club representing Steamboat Springs, Colo. in skiing and snowboarding. David, 10, competes in U12 Slalom, Giant Slalom, Jump, and Cross Country (Nordic Combined discipline), and Jack, 8, (pictured) races in U12 Alpine, Jump, and Snowboard. They are also both playing hockey for Steamboat and David is playing in select games for the AA Rocky Mountains Select team in Colorado. Their sister, Marianka, 3, is following in her brothers’ footsteps learning to skate and shredding the mountain skiing.
