Bellaire High School's Club Jamboree
Being an incoming freshman to Bellaire High School can be overwhelming. However, you’re likely to find a club that is the right fit for you. Home to over 100 clubs, the school has something to offer to everyone. On Aug. 15, Club Jamboree was held at the school for incoming freshmen. The freshmen were led by Cardinal Crew Leaders, juniors and seniors who will serve as mentors to the new students, to the Club Jamboree where each club had a booth set up to try to attract new freshman members. These are just some of the very diverse club options:
After Club Jamboree was over, the freshmen were led back to the multipurpose room by their Cardinal Crew Leaders. Diana Gong (senior) was a Cardinal Crew Leader, and she enjoyed it very much.
“It was nice to show the freshmen all the clubs we have to offer,” Diana said. “It’s crazy to think that was me just three years ago.” The freshmen seemed excited to start the new school year on Aug. 25.
