Evelyn’s Park board member

Recently, the Evelyn’s Park Conservancy Board welcomed Bellaire resident Patricia King-Ritter, who’s served on various other boards in the community, including a public relations spot for the Texas Union at The University of Texas and board chair for the Recycling Committee for the City of Bellaire. She’s not the only member of her family excited about Evelyn’s Park; her 7-year-old son, Luke, loved the idea of having a brand-new park right down the street and decided to head up several activities to raise money. His fundraising projects included selling lemonade and cookies at Whole Foods; he’s raised more than $6,200 total. Patricia lives in Bellaire with her husband Tom, Luke, and twin 5-year-old daughters Kia and Ellie Ritter. Pictured is Patricia holding Naomi Freedman at Pop-Up in the Park at Evelyn’s Park.
