Briargrove residents Emma Eidman, Callie O'Neil, Elizabeth Loeffler, Caroline Loeffler, Gabriela Dastmalchian (pictured, from left) and (not pictured) Thomas Loeffler created a lemonade stand to raise money and awareness for MD Anderson Cancer Center. The volunteers passed out sunscreen, yellow MDA sunglasses and literature promoting the importance of practicing good skin-care habits. They raised $300 from Briargrove residents and through cookie and lemonade sales. Mom Ashley Loeffler worked with MD Anderson to pick up all the materials and set up the lemonade stand.
