Residents like Dee Dee Dochen had a ball at the 15^th annual Rock ‘n Roll on Rice Blvd. block party organized by Fawaz Hashmi and John Stokes. Several Houston nonprofits joined in for a surprise flash mob, dancing for partygoers to Pharrell Williams’ song Happy. Dochen and others helped get the crowd going as everyone circled around. Participating nonprofits were TUTS’ Humphreys School of Musical Theatre, DePelchin Children’s Center, Music Doing Good, Brighter Bites, Houston Center for Literacy, AVANCE Houston, Urban Harvest and ESCAPE Family Resource Center.
