Sci fi fantasies

Matthew Franchek, who is home-schooled, likes to imagine a world filled with helpful robots.

My dream is to build a robot that can build other robots to help people. The name of this robot would be Robobuilder. Robobuilder would be both an engineer and a mechanic. It would be programmed to come up with designs to create other robots. Robobuilder would know what parts to use and how to put together the other robots. It would be able to fix broken robots too. Robobuilder would be the top of the robot class because he can design and fix other robots. Here are the kinds of other robots Robobuilder would make.

Robonurse would be made to help doctors. The doctors would tell Robonurse what to do, like giving shots, taking a person’s temperature and looking into ears. Robonurse would also stay with kids who are in the hospital. She will play games, music and movies for the sick kids. Robonurse would stay with the kids in the hospital and go to the cafeteria to get popsicles for the children with sore throats.

Roborocket is another class of robots. Roborocket can fly to outer space without a space shuttle. It can explore other planets and galaxies and take pictures of planets and stars. In case he meets an alien, he will be able to shake their hand and learn from them. Roborocket will also protect our planet.

Robotdiver is a robot that will explore the ocean and take pictures of sea animals. He would look for lost ships and treasures. He will be able to find sea animals sick from dirty water and take care of them. Robotdiver will be the best seaman and explorer.

In the future, I think robots will live in our families just like pets. They will help us learn and help us get better when we are sick.
