In loving memory

Bellaire High School Class of 1988 graduate Tara Thomas Leo has passed away from lung cancer. Friends, family and classmates stepped up in support. Within three months of her diagnosis, a support page on Facebook was created, a concert organized, jewelry sales and websites were created to raise money, and a large quilt with squares from many classmates and friends was made and given to Tara. Tara read through the posts and pictures on the Facebook page and said, “My heart is so full.” Celebrating Tara’s life at Marquis II in West University were fellow Bellaire High School classmates and friends Tilly Sherwood, Mark Brock, Darren Gaston, Michele McBuck, Bobby Johnson, Shannon Tucker Guerra, Rob Strobel, Sandy Skinner Bradford, Gary Dean, Vickie McTague, Michael Carrillo, Hector Guerra, Shawna Mouser, Dawn DuCroz Sherrill, Kim Keathley Veselka, Anne Jakubowski Kappes, Shannon Shelton Vestal, Maya Garcia, Kim Moreland, Greg Chaumier and Melissa Hall Wilson.
