Peppermint Whipped Cream
From the Junior League of Houston's Peace Meals cookbook.
Ingredients:
½ cup heavy whipping cream
2 to 3 teaspoons sugar
½ teaspoon peppermint extract
Recipe directions:
Pour the cream into a chilled bowl and beat it vigorously with an electric mixer until it just begins to hold its shape. Add the sugar and peppermint extract and continue to whip until the cream holds very soft, droopy peaks. To make more traditional whipped cream, use pure vanilla extract in place of the peppermint extract.
