Crisp
This Heights-area gastropub, serving updated comfort food and craft beer on tap, is hidden among the myriad of townhomes being built on the surrounding streets. With a 5,000-square-foot patio/garden, Crisp is a good place to dine or have drinks outdoors after work. Their menu specialties include a stone deck-fired pizza, plus over 100 wines and 24 craft beers on tap. In addition to their pizza offerings, I suggest trying their rich Baked Texas Goat Cheese & Marinara Roasted Garlic Tomato Sauce with Soft Garlic and cheesy Drunken Garlic Bread. Crisp’s half-pound burger with Angus beef is also very good, as are the homemade rosemary and garlic fries.
