My name is Lauryn Kapiloff, and I’m a senior at St. John’s School. I have a passion for writing and photography, and I fell in love with reporting during my summer internship with The Buzz. As an Editor-in-Chief of the SJS yearbook, I use photography and digital design to tell the unique stories of the school year. As a School Buzz reporter, I’m excited to share these stories in even more detail with my larger community. Aside from journalism, I love to dance, whether it’s in the studio or just around my house, as well as play school lacrosse every spring. I was born and raised in Houston, and I love it for its arts scene, diverse culture, and, of course, Astros baseball.
