Publisher's Note - January 2014
I promise to… Yep, it’s a New Year, and that can only mean one thing: New Year’s resolutions. Love them or hate them, we all make them, and unfortunately we all break them. Well, maybe not all of us. Buzz resident Anna Jones made seven New Year’s resolutions last year and found a creative way to actually achieve almost all of them. You can read about Anna’s strategy and perhaps gain a bit of inspiration for yourself in this month’s Back Porch column, Resolutions Times 100. If you have young children there’s a good chance you’ve already made the resolution to start saving for their college education. Whether you’ve just begun to save or are in the home stretch with a college senior, be sure to check out Cheryl Laird’s article, Affording College, packed with great money-saving ideas. My resolution? To not wait until the last minute to write this publisher’s note each month. I’ll start next month. Promise. [email protected]
