My name is Bella. Mine is a story of perseverance, second chances and redemption. My life did not begin well, and I almost didn’t make it. But I was rescued by a Bellaire group called Sav-A-Pet. Through it all, I kept my sweet, loving personality. And then it happened. A family found me on Petfinder.com, and gave me a home. Now I greet them with smiles and kisses. I sprawl on the floor so they can rub my belly. I love riding in the car to drop the children off at school. I’m even taking obedience classes, and they say I’m pretty smart. Recently, I surprised everyone when I barked for the very first time. A stranger came knocking, and I let him know this is my family now. Some say that dogs cannot feel fortunate, but I am living proof. All I needed was a chance.
