West Coast weekend

When Rick Burleson turned 60, friend Keith McCarthy gave him a ticket to join him to watch Auburn and Florida State at the Rose Bowl stadium. Wives Cecily Burleson and Meredith McCarthy partied with the fellows at the Peninsula in Los Angeles during the luxurious long weekend. The gals opted for watching the game at the hotel and doing some damage on Rodeo Drive while the guys tried to figure out who to root for, being conservative Longhorns at heart. Sylvia and Ricardo Gauthier, who moved to San Diego from Houston, met up for a visit. Sightings included Matt Lauer in a black Rolls Royce and Johnny Football (Johnny Manziel). J.R. Burleson, who lives in L.A., joined his parents from some eats.
