Matt Ashbaugh, James Grant, Cameron Cash and Patrick Leyendecker (pictured, from left), all sophomores and baseball players at St. Thomas High School, joined in the fun as “buddies” at a Challenger game. Challenger is a baseball program for kids with disabilities, where everyone gets to participate and no score is kept. Also, Patrick and James received their senior bats, a long-standing tradition, at the West University Little League closing ceremonies after playing for 11 years.
