Friendly competition

Two of the Spring Branch-Memorial Sports Association Frostwood youth baseball teams battled it out on the field. The Reds and the Cubs had the same record going into the game and almost ended in a tie. A last-second run put the Reds on top. The teams had a joint ice cream celebration after the game. The Cubs were coached by Chris Halaska, Mike Green and Todd LeBlanc. Team members included Henry Beckcom, Ethan Beyer, Sam Brink, Sam Frank, Clayton Gilmore, William Green, Hayden Halaska, Grayson LeBlanc, Evan Moore, Lyle Raymond, Nathan Seelig and Dylan Villasmil. The Reds were coached by Andy Medlenka, Andy Iversen and Mike Iversen. Players were Lance Horn, Burke Le Fevre, Zachary Rosca-Halmagean, Jack Scofield, Bryce Wischoff, Trey Iversen, Austin Medlenka, Dominic Pinera, Brooks Rexrode, Mason Riddle and George Standige.
