The Garden Club of Houston’s 72nd annual Bulb and Plant Mart will be held Oct. 2-4 at its new location, St. John the Divine Church. Shoppers will find more than 500,000 top-quality bulbs from domestic and international suppliers, including hundreds of varieties of tulips, iris, amaryllis, daffodils, hyacinths and hard-to-find plants. Over the summer, garden club members have taken on the project of growing the native milkweed that monarch butterflies use as their host plant, and it will be available at the plant mart. Visitors will receive a horticultural guide for Houston and can visit the conservation booth, which will feature native and drought-tolerant plants curated by experts. See gchouston.org.

Editor’s note: The Buzz congratulates Annie and Tyler McQueen on their beautiful twin babies.
