Bayou city

The Bayou Preservation Association is hosting its 15^th annual gala, Bayoutopia, at the Memorial home of Natasha and Michael Bleyzer, 7 p.m. Oct. 15. This annual event will bring Houstonians together to raise funds and celebrate Houston’s bayou system. The evening will include al fresco cocktails, culinary concoctions by Tony’s and entertainment on the banks of the Buffalo Bayou. Chairs of the evening are Laurie and Doug Vander Ploeg, Frances and Nick Stephens, Mariana Green and Dan Searight. See bayoupreservation.org.
