Last week, Bellaire High School hosted its annual college fair. With more than 100 colleges, in state and out of state, attending, students from all grade levels gathered up on Tuesday night to learn more about what these colleges have to offer.
Although some of us still have time, it’s never too early to start gathering information and thinking about college, even if you have no clue of what your field of study might be.
“I don’t have an exact plan, but so far I want to go to college to study pre-med and psychology because I want to be a psychiatrist or a physical therapist,” said Ashley Truong. “I’m also thinking about going to a college in the northern states because I feel like the northern state colleges will provide a higher education for me and as for colleges, I have in mind the University of Denver, University of Colorado, University of Chicago, Texas A&M and UT.”

“I came to the college fair because I want to start getting serious about picking the right college for me. I want to major in either something in the business field or maybe computer science,” said Hunain Malik. “Colleges I want to go to are UT Austin, A&M, and Rice.”
