Expanding facility to help kids
The Children’s Assessment Center, which helps prevent and treat child sexual abuse, announced that it’s in the final phase of raising funds for its Restoring Hope Rebuilding Lives Capital Campaign. The goal of the campaign is to add approximately 77,000 square feet to the current facility in Rice Village. So far, they’ve raised more than $24 million of the $32 million goal. Executive director Elaine Stolte said on the center’s website, “Child sexual abuse knows no boundaries and affects every socio-economic group and ethnicity.” For more info about the center or to donate to the campaign, visit cachouston.org.
