St. Francis Episcopal Day School has carried on a tradition of a biennial gala and auction for 60 years. It started in the gym in 1983 and has evolved into an off-campus, 600-plus-attendee event. However, the gala remains a fun evening with a serious purpose: to raise funds and celebrate the future of St. Francis. The school has planned an evening of glitter and glam at the on Feb. 7 at the Royal Sonesta Hotel. The gala is chaired by Stacie Chapman and Jennifer Moore.
